Buy, restore, and manage Yuedu Pro
Yuedu Pro unlocks the features listed on Pricing. This guide covers where to buy it, how to restore it on another device, how to upgrade or cancel, and what to check if Pro doesn’t unlock.
Buy Yuedu Pro
- Open the Settings tab and tap your account at the top. It reads Not signed in if you haven’t signed in yet.
- Tap Yuedu Pro.
- Choose Monthly or Lifetime. The price comes from your App Store country or region.
- Tap Subscribe to Yuedu Pro or Buy Yuedu Pro, then confirm with Apple.
Tapping a locked Pro feature opens the same purchase screen.
Sign in first, or buy directly?
If you aren’t signed in, Yuedu asks you to Choose Purchase Method:
- Sign In and Purchase: sign in with email, Google, or Apple, then buy. Pro is linked to your Yuedu account and stays available after you change App Store accounts.
- Purchase Without Signing In: Pro follows the Apple Account used for this purchase.
Bought without signing in? You can sign in later from your account page with Sign In / Sign Up, then tap Restore Purchases to link the purchase to that account. If Yuedu shows Unable to link the purchase to this account, the purchase may already be linked to another Yuedu account; sign in to that account instead.
Restore on a new device
Use this after changing iPhone or iPad, reinstalling Yuedu, or when Pro isn’t shown as active.
- Make sure the App Store is signed in with the Apple Account you used to buy.
- If you bought while signed in to Yuedu, sign in to the same Yuedu account.
- Open Settings → your account → Yuedu Pro.
- Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the screen.
If nothing is found, Yuedu shows No purchases to restore. See If Pro doesn’t unlock.
Upgrade from Monthly to Lifetime
- Open Yuedu Pro. Your Monthly plan is marked Current plan.
- Choose Lifetime and tap Upgrade to Lifetime.
- Cancel the Monthly subscription after the purchase. Apple doesn’t stop it automatically; Yuedu reminds you with Cancel your monthly plan and a Manage subscriptions button.
Cancel a Monthly subscription
Subscriptions are managed in your Apple Account. On iPhone or iPad:
- Open the Settings app and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Yuedu (listed as 閱讀 in some regions), then tap Cancel Subscription.

When Pro ends, nothing you imported or wrote is deleted. Paragraph notes stay readable but can’t be edited, and Pro themes switch back to Classic until you renew.
Redeem an offer code
Open Yuedu Pro, tap Redeem Offer Code, and enter the code in Apple’s sheet.
Join TestFlight testing
TestFlight seats are for Lifetime members. Sign in to the Yuedu account linked to your Lifetime purchase, then open Settings → About Yuedu Reader → Join the TestFlight beta. Each account can apply once, and the invitation is sent to the email address you enter.
If Pro doesn’t unlock
- Check that the App Store is signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
- If you bought while signed in, check that Yuedu is signed in to the same account.
- Connect to the internet, then tap Restore Purchases again.
- A Monthly subscription that has ended stays locked until you subscribe again.
Still stuck? Contact support with your device, iOS version, Yuedu version, plan, and roughly when you bought it. Never share passwords or verification codes.
