隱私權政策

「閱讀」是一款以本機為主的 iOS 閱讀器。我們不經營任何分析、追蹤或廣告伺服器，也不會收集、出售或分享你的個人資料。你的書籍與閱讀資料預設只留在你的裝置上；只有在你主動連線的服務（iCloud、你自行設定的內容/朗讀來源）時，資料才會離開裝置，並交由那些服務各自的隱私政策管理。

1. 我們不收集的資料

  • 沒有第三方分析、行為追蹤或廣告 SDK。
  • 沒有開發者經營的伺服器在記錄你的使用行為。App 內的遙測函式為空實作（不送出任何資料）。
  • 我們不會販售或為了廣告而分享你的任何資料。

2. 儲存在你裝置上的資料

以下內容只儲存在你的裝置本機（必要時透過你的 iCloud 同步，見第 3 點）：

  • 你匯入的書籍（EPUB / TXT）與其檔案。
  • 閱讀進度、書籤、畫線與標註。
  • 書架、RSS 訂閱、書源與閱讀器偏好設定。

3. iCloud 同步（選用）

若你開啟 iCloud 同步，App 會透過 Apple 的 CloudKit 把上述資料備份/還原到你自己的私人 iCloud 帳號。這些資料存放在 Apple 的 iCloud 中、只有你能存取，不會經過或儲存在我們的伺服器。其使用受 Apple 的隱私政策約束。你可以隨時關閉同步或刪除 iCloud 中的備份。

4. 帳號與登入（選用）

App 提供選用的「使用 Apple 登入」與 Google 登入，僅用於辨識你的帳號。登入後，App 只會在本機保存你的顯示名稱、電子郵件與帳號識別碼等基本資訊。我們不會用這些資訊建立廣告檔案。Apple 與 Google 對登入流程所處理的資料，分別受其各自的隱私政策約束。不登入也能使用 App 的閱讀功能。

5. 你自行設定的網路來源

App 會連線到由你提供網址的服務，並把必要的請求送到那些伺服器：

  • RSS 訂閱與網路書源 / 線上閱讀：抓取你訂閱或設定的內容。
  • WebDAV：同步到你自己設定的 WebDAV 伺服器。
  • 朗讀（TTS）：若你設定了 HTTP 朗讀服務網址，App 會把要朗讀的文字送到那個你指定的服務以產生語音。未設定則不會送出。

這些都是你選擇連線的第三方服務，我們既不經營也不會收到上述資料。你送往這些服務的資料，受該服務自己的隱私政策約束。

6. 兒童隱私

本 App 並非針對 13 歲以下兒童設計，我們不會在知情的情況下收集兒童的個人資料。

7. 政策變更

若本政策有更新，我們會更新本頁頂端的「最後更新」日期。重大變更會在 App 或本專案頁面上說明。

Privacy Policy

Yuedu Reader is a local-first iOS reading app. We do not operate any analytics, tracking, or advertising servers, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. Your books and reading data stay on your device by default; data only leaves your device for services you connect to (iCloud, and the content/speech sources you configure), governed by those services' own privacy policies.

1. What we do not collect

  • No third-party analytics, behavioral tracking, or advertising SDKs.
  • No developer-operated server logging your activity — the in-app telemetry function is a no-op (sends nothing).
  • We never sell or share your data for advertising.

2. Data stored on your device

The following is stored locally on your device (and optionally synced via your own iCloud — see §3):

  • Books you import (EPUB / TXT) and their files.
  • Reading position, bookmarks, highlights, and annotations.
  • Your bookshelf, RSS subscriptions, book sources, and reader preferences.

3. iCloud sync (optional)

If you enable iCloud sync, the app backs up/restores the above data to your own private iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit. This data lives in Apple's iCloud, is accessible only to you, and never passes through or is stored on our servers. It is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. You can disable sync or delete the iCloud backup at any time.

4. Account & sign-in (optional)

The app offers optional Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In, used only to identify your account. After signing in, the app stores basic details (your display name, email, and an account identifier) locally on your device. We do not use this to build advertising profiles. Data handled by Apple and Google during sign-in is governed by their respective privacy policies. You can use the app's reading features without signing in.

5. Network sources you configure

The app connects to services for which you provide the URL, sending the necessary requests to those servers:

  • RSS feeds and web book sources / online reading: to fetch the content you subscribe to or configure.
  • WebDAV: to sync with a WebDAV server you set up.
  • Text-to-Speech (TTS): if you configure an HTTP TTS service URL, the app sends the text to be spoken to that service to generate audio. If not configured, nothing is sent.

These are third-party services you choose to connect to; we neither operate them nor receive the data above. Data you send to them is governed by those services' own privacy policies.

6. Children's privacy

This app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted in the app or on this project page.
